On September 28, 2015, EducationUSA Belgium and Luxembourg hosted the 2015 Brussels College Night Fair at St. John’s International School, where almost 500 prospective students and their families had the chance to speak with university and organization representatives from the United States and Europe! With over 80 universities represented, students and their families had the opportunity to connect with professionals that are experts in the field of higher education.
To start the evening, student and their families were able to listen to an expert panel talking about everything from financial aid and the application process to selecting the right university and college entrance exams. Afterwards, the students flooded into the two gyms where the representatives were eagerly waiting to interact with these anxious students and parents. The students crowded the room going from table to table, waiting in lines to talk with their favorite.
After almost two hours of mingling and information gathering, the students left the venue, and the representatives were treated to a traditional Belgian beer tasting. With fifteen different options, everyone was able to try beers such as Gulden Draak, Delirium Nocturnum, Lindeman’s Geuze, and many more. Paired with some delicious snacks, the representatives ended this exciting night by relaxing and having a true taste of Belgium. We would like to thank all of the universities and organizations represented as well as all the students and families for attending the 2015 Brussels College Night. We hope to see everyone back again next year!
