On 4 November 2020 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m., the EducationUSA Advising Team in Belgium, located within the Fulbright Commission will host the 2020 EducationUSA Virtual LL.M. Fair in Belgium as part of the LL.M. Tour across Europe. Join us!
Now in its sixth year, the EducationUSA LL.M. Fair provides law students and young lawyers in Belgium the opportunity to meet and network with representatives from dozens of American law schools. Attendees will learn more about the application process, admissions, and the content of LL.M programs in the United States and will also be able to meet with law school representatives one-on-one. In short … whether they are a law student preparing for their next steps or a young lawyer looking to internationalize their CV, the EducationUSA LL.M. Fair is the perfect opportunity to learn more about legal education in the United States.
The LL.M. Fair is organized by the EducationUSA Advising Team in Belgium, located within the Fulbright Commission. EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of over 430 international student advising centers in 178 countries and territories. The network promotes U.S. higher education to students around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about opportunities to study at accredited postsecondary institutions in the United States. The event is intended for law students — at the bachelor’s, master’s, or even doctoral level — and young lawyers who are considering applying for an LL.M. in the United States.
This year’s fair will take place online on Wednesday 4 November 2020 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.

We ask that participants respect the thirty-minute rotation schedule that we’ve put in place from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. by logging in on time and by switching to a new virtual booth at the end of each rotation. During each rotation, you can expect representatives to start off by delivering a short presentation of their law school and LL.M. programs before then switching to talking with participants and responding to participant questions. In order to make the most of your time at the fair, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the participating institutions ahead of time and set a schedule for yourself. At the end of the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to finish up your conversations or meet briefly with additional representatives during the “Open” section of the fair.
